I’m Mahir, a student developer from Ahmedabad exploring where software, artificial intelligence and robotics meet. I like turning ambitious ideas into things people can actually use — and robots that actually move.

01About

A student who learns by building things.

I’m Mahir Patel, a student developer from Ahmedabad. What started with HTML and CSS turned into Python, C and C++ — and then into dashboards, AI-powered tools and competition robots.

I care about the whole journey of an idea: the logic underneath, the interface on top, and the moment someone else actually uses it. Away from the editor, I enjoy explaining AI to other people — I’ve written a book about it and spoken about it on stage.

  • Currently exploring

Electronics with Arduino and ESP32, and server-side development with Flask and MySQL.

  • Favourite things to build

Dashboards that make data obvious, and tools where an AI layer does something genuinely useful.

  • Beyond the screen

Robotics competitions — most recently Codeavour 7.0, where my team won Track 2 in Jakarta.

  • How I build

Start from a real problem, keep the scope small enough to finish, then polish the interface.

02Skills

A toolkit that spans code and circuits.

No made-up percentages. Every technology is labelled with how I’ve actually used it: certified, used in a project, part of my daily toolkit, or something I’m still exploring.

03Projects

Things I’ve designed and built.

From finance dashboards to AI-assisted tools and classroom software — each project started with a problem I wanted to solve.

04Beyond the screen

Software that moves.

Some of my favourite problems don’t live in a browser. At Codeavour 7.0, my teammate and I combined AI, coding, machine learning and robotics using PictoBlox — and won Track 2 of the Robo Challenge, first at nationals and then at the international finale in Jakarta.

  1. 01 · Logic

    Program the behaviour

Coding how the robot behaves, step by step.

  2. 02 · Intelligence

    Add intelligence

Applying AI and machine-learning models with PictoBlox.

  3. 03 · Hardware

    Make it perform live

A robot that has to work on the competition table, in front of judges.

  4. Next on the bench

    Arduino, ESP32 & sensors

Currently exploring microcontrollers and IoT — building blocks for my own hardware projects.
